But either way, the point is not that everybody should like it but just considering the popularity of violence and especially cartoonish violence guro somewhat lacks in popularity.

Although even that is questionable because if we look at the pixiv quite a lot of artists who seem to have nothing in common with guro draw one or two pictures on that topic in all their carrier.

Nobody is expecting everyone to like realistic guro and also the majority of people here do not even want it to be realistic at all and feel repulsed by real gore or scat.
