Art can't "go too far". Assholes like anonymous numbers 230 and 231 are the reason why you have to go through all sorts of loopholes to get around the ridiculous filters and locks boorus/doujin readers have these days.
That being said, I think the only dignified exception you can make is allowing 3DCG loli on /lg/. Banning loli, both 3D and 2D, is the most un-gurochan thing you can do. That's why the move the previous admins made was shameful. Banning a specific type of artwork because the hoster has problems with it is exactly what moot did, which is what lead to the conception of gurochan in the first place. But banning 3D loli because a few snowflakes can't handle it is even lower than that.
