Well maybe just ripping everything and putting out for free is not ideal, but we should follow REASONABLE copyright law created hundreds of years ago when world was not yet ruled by evil corporations, which give author certain time of monopoly and them everything goes into public domain.

Also saying that art should be free by definition is incorrect I would rather say that it is art only when it is free when it is not free it is disposable consumable mass-produced trash. Same as everything what is produced for money just to extract money form consumers.

Artist should be paid for work somehow, but art eventually had to get into public domain and live there forever or into trash can like every other consumer products and be forgotten as if it never existed.
