I support a few artists on Patreon, but I try to support only artists who don't paywall content. Most of them release their work publicly after a week or a month, I find this to be an acceptable compromise.

I also support artists that at least let their work be filtered to sites like exhentai without issue.
If they start taking down content from other sites to enforce "exclusivity" I drop my support immediately.

I think we should prioritize supporting artists who understand art should not be paywalled.
