Discord isnt taking away activity. Unless your braindead, your just making excuses now. On other boards, its proved time and time again that delivering these notifications when people make posts spurs activity, people see someone replied to their thread and they go and reply quicker, it stimulates activity. Its not a chat or a hangout that sucks activity from the board.
