That's not the point. It is about the idea that you are breaking some arbitrary rules yourself. legal or illegal, immoral etc does not matter. Those are all subjective arbitrary rules. producers and consumers of those rape videos probably don't think that there is anything wrong in that.

Speaking about contributing to artists thats different issue but for starters how about just leaving comments about the works you liked as the bare minimum thing you can do which costs nothing? Or donate them some money.
