i usually post incognito or tor whenever possible, pretty sure incognito doesn't actually turn off cookies, though. it doesn't even always ask you whether or not you want to accept cookies from certain sites. more importantly, i suck at dealing with hardware for some reason. i need someone with an actual clue to tell me if i am making a terrible mistake, and i'm pretty sure i would end up needing to ask someone for help to get my router back up if i did try to turn it off for any amount of time. it's just 3 days, so hopefully it isn't too bad.
