Ah, yes that makes total sense!

So it's a case of girls having to voluntarily jump in to share their friends' electric suffering...
And I'm guessing if they all disconnect and let the circuit break there's fatal consequences for everyone...? Sounds like a fun carnival game! I can definitely work this into some contraption with like a dark circus aesthetic... Will take some time though cuz it'll have to be like a series of images but it'll be worth it...
To show the other girls, crying hard as they abandon the one left getting electrocuted, and through her bloodied, boiling tears she looks back at their wailing, apologetic faces as they're forced to watch their selfless friend fries to an eyeless, steaming crisp...
