I've always been in favor of a consensus between freeing art behind the paywalls and supporting artists. To tum it up I am in favor of comissions and against hoarding art behind the paywalls.By definition art is free and the main purpose of the internet is access to information. However due to recent pixiv events I believe action should be taken in "liberating" as much art as we can and posting it here for conservation purposes. Atm it seems like pixiv is raiding and deleting art art random and not just works that don't respect censorship rules or fanboxes with what they recently considered sensible content. But at a closer look it doesn't seem as random as it appears. It seems that low-level artists are targeted first and top-tiers are left alone ie Chalk. It certanly looks like they are trying to discourage them from making niche art because from public display it can easily end up in fanboxes.
We don't know if they will take this further or stop here but I say we must salvage all we can and put it here in our guro bastion;)
