Exactly I believe you are right but it doesn't look like an attack more like s study, probably to identify the weak points of the guro community. My advice in this matter is, whenever you see an innocent dude or gal that says he or she likes guro but had a personal problem or life experience that forced this person to be in the opposite side and is now looking for advice/help by describing the situation.
DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM! There is a strong chance they will trigger an forced emotional empathic response from you.If you find a part of your life experience in these stories it will be worse, you might start to place your self in the shoes of this person(fictional or not) trying to help him or her.
Be vary cautions when a person like the one described above starts a thread like this.I love debates much as any net-surfer but in these cases silence is golden!
