if you can tell the difference between fantasy and reality, and choose to keep your feelings strictly in the realm of fantasy, you have nothing to fear. as for why, there isn't too much to say about it other than your brain has associated those things with sexual attraction, like pavlov's dog. why is beyond me. hell, it could be completely random, like genetics and neural networks making some arbitrary association completely on their own. finding a theory for why you think the way you do based on past events and the way you think about things has the ability to change the way your kinks express themselves, which might give you control over those feelings, but the reason might be as simple as "just because". not saying that necessarily is the case, and as i said, you can gain control over it through rationalization, but the brain is an incredibly complex system, so it doesn't always make perfect logical sense.
