I'm gonna give you a bit of a life story, so apologies in advance
I was the anon who talked about ryona being an outlet for people, both for the viewer and the talent.
I was a travelling kid who used to play aggressive, but often silly acoustic punk music for essentially my income. It was an amazing outlet until I slowly started to accept that I was in a scene that was more concerned with drugs, extreme politics and other really toxic shit.
I took a bus back home and basically stagnated for years, since I didn't like the music I used to play anymore and now I live in a place where the walls are so thin that if I practiced that kind of singing it would get me kicked out. I've been doing more wholesome vtubing casually for the past year and it's been a lot of fun, but I still miss that aggressive outlet.
Being a ryona vtuber feels like an option for getting that outlet back in a different way. As a performer, just watching wouldn't be enough, I need to be creating an outlet with other people who need it too.
It would probably be just a side gig that I'd do less frequently, but the idea of it seems so relieving to me. Only downside is I need to make my own pngs, since the people who made my other ones don't want to do gore, which is fine.
Sorry again for the oversharing, but I'm shit at keeping things simple.
