Yeah I'm still struggling for words.
"Pornography" almost works if we expand the erotic to not necessarily include sexuality.
I would say pornography is usually quite asexual in the sense that pornography is impersonal and about "fucking" not about "him fucking her".
The word "limit-experience" works and covers political and religious ecstasy as much as religious ecstasy but doesn't cover the performance art or social learning aspects of it.
Also, I finished "Otaku: Japan's Database Animals" which is amazing and gives a whole new perspective and kind of meshes with a social learning perspective.
I feel like propaganda is "pornographic" and so has no meta-narrative but instead has a "database" or "meta-wiki."
"Database politics" would be politics crushed hyperflat, cut up and opened with all limbs swappable.
