Absolutely, yes! There are quite a few images I've lost over the years that I never found on any site again. For example there once were 2 series of images, both by the same artist, crude sketches, either possibly some of the earliest digital art or more likely scanned hand drawn art. They were all in .gif format, one set depicting scenes of lolis in some form of concentration camp beeing tortured/killed by some ss guys, the other iirc some rich guys/gals torturing and ultimately killing a loli via horse intercourse just for fun. Back in (I think) the late 90s and early 2000s those pics were seemingly everywhere (at least in my memory) but sometime around 10 years ago I stopped encountering them. Also the signature was undiscernable so I don't even know who the artist was.

Related pic on the left is the only one from those 2 sets that somehow managed to survive in one of my folders
