I have been exposed to dead animals and seen them die in front of me a couple times. While it's true that the rolling eyes did really make me think on how it would be in fiction, the reality is that in the heat of the moment I was both disgusted and sad. So much that I couldn't even get close to the carcass. We are talking about animals here, if it was an human I would be even more disgusted because I would think it's just disrespectful. Now if it was a doll or something I would never sympathize with, then I would probably phantasize about it. But that's all, fantasy, I would feel remorseful it was a real corpse because I would think it had a family and so.
