Yes, it's a very japanese thing. And I'm not concerned about boards that have to follow japanese censorship rules. If a little line at the right place saves the posters from getting their asses grounded then that's fine with me.

What I don't like is to find this schizophrenic stuff on GUROchan. Of course I could ignore it and compared with all problems around the world it's just a glitch.
But already Ovid wrote in "Remedia Amoris": "Principiis obsta" ‒ "Resist the beginnings" or in other words: “Nip it in the bud!” ;)

Are there more opinions?
