while that is very much true and good advice, it is still a reason to be concerned, if a site of this magnitude
gets successfully attacked by essentially ultra right wing christian hate groups.
now if the claims about legal issues prove to be true, that is a different matter, but first and foremost at least the spirit behind it
seems to be an attack on freedom of speech and expression. those can and should not be taken for granted. they have been fought for in the past
to achieve the liberties many of us enjoy today and still have to be defended, likely always will.
having a treasure trove of porn offline at your disposal is good prepping for bad times, but if and when the world outside turns to totalitarianism,
spearheaded by Neo-puritans, sooner or later nothing may be safe. in an age of total surveillance and control through big data, rather sooner than later.
do I love motherless that much? no. freedom of speech on the other hand I would not want to lose. and this is why I do not think that this is a matter
that should be just shrugged off or taken lightly. especially because these kinds of attacks happen more and more frequently and apparently successful.
