I have had the same thoughts. Yes, there must be a huge supply of women for meat. I wake up and I am in a Dolcett world. One idea is that there is a 100 to one girl to boy birth ratio. And no way to change it. So the men are treated like masters because they are so important. The girls are disposable. A further idea is that girls are chosen to become breeders. They go to something like a camp/prison where they live just to create babies.
