A currently under-used feature of Gurochan is the chat room here. It's a lot of fun and we get some really interesting conversations going there sometimes.

Two ways to get into the chat:

This is the original chat room. This works best on older or lower-powered mobile devices, and is more appealing to people who prefer the old-school web style common on many image boards.

Then there's also:

https://chatproxy.chat/

This is a different interface to the same conversation going on in the original chat room, but with a different look-and-feel, with added features like private messages with other people in the chat room, message editing, and easier image and file sharing. This chat UI is more demanding of computing power, however, and might be sluggish on some devices.

So, what do we talk about?

Obviously people like to discuss guro and other sexual kinks in the chat room, but it's a free-floating conversation that can go anywhere. We prefer to avoid politics, or at least getting too deeply and divisively into that, or anything else likely to turn unpleasant.

There are currently no hard and fast rules, but the chat room is moderated, and you can be banned if you act like a jerk. Don't spam us, don't say shit that's likely to attract unwelcome attention to the site. Be tolerant of other people's kinks, including loli kinks which, whether you like that or not, are pretty common around here.

If you drop into the chat room you might, of course, find yourself alone, or the people in the chat won't currently paying close attention to that chat. You can, however, set the chat room up to ping you audibly when new messages come in*, so you can just lurk and wait for more people to come along. You can also simply leave messages for other people to respond to later.

I'm trying to promote interest in the chat room specifically to help keep it a bit of a busier place, to reduce the quiet spells. So, please, if this sound fun to you, come join us.

*This often works better in a desktop environment, however, than with some mobile devices which mute everything running in the background.
