The idea being you append a new post number to the regex every time you want to hide an associated thread?

I suppose. But meh. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm just being difficult about this, but the issue for me is much less about what I see or not, but when I post something if other people will see it or not.

Most other users aren't going to set up these elaborate filters. If I have to post to scat then I know I'll be losing a lot of potential viewers because of that.
