    Would you work as an executioner if it was fully proven the executee is guilty and the death penalty is the law in your country? in Japan for example they have it, by hanging (surprisingly for such a low-murder country). Would you be\have-been a guillotine Operator or a Hangman? Or ,maybe less extreme. work at a Halal or Kosher slaughterhouse?

    my answer is no to all of your questions. for me fantasy and reality are two different things. I might feel catharsis killing some really loathsome business figure or politician, but the act itself, killing a real person, still intrinsically disturbs me.

    I think jobs always kill all fun
    job as executioner probably woud be same as gynecologist at best
    people may envy that job but if you have it there is no fun at all.

    But I think I would take executioner job simply because it pays reasonably well and there is not much work to do looks like the easiest job possible.
    I hope they will not ask me to type word documents when I am not operating that guillotine
