the site has like two mods and they moderate at least ten different alternative imageboards

Or maybe there are times they are just too busy… CP almost never stays up for longer than a few hours. People reporting it in the notification server helps a lot too.

Cp spam, most likely scams, had always appeared from time to time but it was never so agressive for a long time.
If i recall there was a guy named Straitjackit who was unfortunately as his name hints genuinely insane and batshit crazy and he really hated this board
He posted cp at the same rate it was posted now and then tried to report the site to the domain registars for closure
It didn't work and then more attacks followed combined with personal threads and many other ugly stuff
This looks like his MO but I hope it's not him because back then, as I'm sure some remember, it was a pain just to surf the board much less post anything on it

I see the same spam on a lot of other smaller imageboards with lax moderation. It happens to boards and forums often, and it's always the same couple of recycled images posted in rotation. If it was a dedicated attack, there would be more than just a couple of threads, and it would be full on CP, not pinups.
The only threat I see, is gurochan's moderators not taking potential threats to the site seriously. Not only is there the risk of an actual group of spammers filling the site with CP, with the intention of getting GC shutdown, but there's also the chance that some wojack spammer could once again, fill the entire catalog with ms paint discord memes, pushing everything of value off the site.
Lest we forget, we're coming up on the anniversary of the time we lost an entire year's worth of content, because no one in charge made any data backups.

Sure a year ago the attackers did some damage but Kaguya and previosly Kuz did a much better job than the previous owners, clearly better than Straitjackits sorry faggot ass

We now have a stable site, with much bigger storage space and I'll wager they fight off waves of spam and attacks and we see only small leaks of that here judging by the fact Gurochan was battered from day one of its existence

My bet is that Straithackit recently tried something and failed cause the new mods are 100x better than him
