What is it about cute lolis mixed in with necrophilia that appeals to some people?
For me, it's that in my fantasies, I get to play with their cute bodies like they're dolls, pose them with objects and treat them like love dolls if I wish it.
Any thoughts? Agree? Disagree?

Because I like the appearance of lolis and I think I would feel safer around dead people, as I am shy. I enjoy the thought of being able to do whatever I want to such a cute pile of meat without any consequences or anyone seeing me, this includes the partner (loli). It's not unique to necrophilia, I enjoy for example time-stopping themes as well.

I think Saito Tamaki touches on this stuff a little in "Beautiful Fighting Girl". Also Kimi Rito discusses gore in "The History of Hentai Manga". Nagayama Kaoru discusses loli in "Erotic Comics in Japan: An Introduction to Eromanga", but not really gore. Hiroki Azuma in "Otaku: Japan's Database Animals" doesn't directly touch on the subject.
Saito Tamaki would probably see loli necrophilia as an instance of his phallic girl impossible hyperreal archetype which he sees as distinct from the Amazonian phallic mother.
According to Nagayama Kaoru, the boom in loli was driven by novelty, and by a desire for adult manga in Osama Tezuka's style. Now, it is well known that Osama Tezuka was influenced by Disney works, and many Disney works were based on traditional fairy tales such as Snow White or Sleeping Beauty many of which in turn derive from the prototypical myth of Cupid and Psyche. So the desire for erotic Disney stories is unsurprising, because Disney stories were already erotic to begin with.
Kimi Rito sees gore as a desire for knowledge similar to the cutaway panel technique. We cannot feel porn, porn must be displayed. In a Linda Williams-esque "frenzy of the visible" sense, gore is an alternative solution to the cum shot as a way of displaying female pleasure.
Hiroki Azuma does not directly touch on the subject of loli and necrophilia, but loli and necrophilia fit as a in-medium reflection of database consumption. Metaphorically, cut and paste culture cuts and staples girls. Dead girls in particular work as a reflection of sterile superflat culture. Under database consumer, there is no meta-narrative and "no perspective" or "point of view."
We can also see loli necrophilia in terms of Simone de Beauvoir's "The Second Sex". Loli necrophilia is a fantasy of a subject without subjectivity. Alternatively, loli necro is a masochist fantasy, a desire to conquer othering.
Putting these viewpoints together, loli necrophilia depicts the goddess Psyche travelling to the underworld, Psyche being an instance of the hyperreal phallic girl archetype depicting young love. The imagery of gore and death being a way of making visible in an image concepts we would usually feel directly. But loli necrophilia also reflects the non-narrative nature of post-modernity. And loli necrophilia is an appealing fantasy to both young men and women who are afraid of intimacy. Basically, loli necrophilia is a postmodern sleeping beauty.

I like the appearance of lolis too and I too fantasize about being able to do sexual things to a cute meat doll and dominating them but for me, it would be in a loving way.
I too like time stopping themes and fantasize about doing sexual things to women and girls in that setting to have total control over them and to achieve my sexual fantasies.

Fascinating post and pretty persuasive. I hadn't thought about any of that it but all sounds right. I'll have to give some of those authors a look.
Personally, since I get off on victims' feelings, necro has never been a big kink for me, and I prefer victims to be old enough to comprehend what is happening to them. But I would probably enjoy a story where a kidnapped protagonist watches the villain play with a dead girl, the protagonist fully aware that she will be played with the same way after she is killed.
