Boorus have advantages such as tag searching that gurochan doesn't. Imageboards as a method of sharing fapping material is outdated, and booru's are now the choice for most people.

What do gurochan users think this:
    >All of gurochans images get uploaded into a booru, the imageboard stays around
    >New posts on the imageboard are now automatically added to booru, a new rule requires that new entries be tagged
    >over time, a volunteer effort to tag all previously uploaded images will eventually culminate in a fully tagged booru, and the imageboard is archived and made read-only
    >>
booru lacks the sense of community bulletin boards of this kind provide
also contributing to booru is pain in teh butt, quickly uploading an image to my fetish's thread is much easier

There's already at least one booru for guro content and it's shit. It hardly gets any uploads and at this point seems abandoned. It's just too niche of a thing to exist on its own. The best you're going to get is Pixiv and other boorus that don't disallow guro content, like rule34, e621, gel, dan, etc.

If I go on a booru and search squish or crush, zero results come up. What use is that? What about steamroller or woodchipper?

The whole concept is flawed in my opinion.

The reason is, no-ones tagged those things because it's a niche interest. When I visit a booru there's lots of tags about socks and eye colour. When I'm fapping to girls getting mashed by industrial machinery I honestly don't really care about those things. But if I upload an image to a booru I'm expected to tag what sort of socks the girl is wearing -- because lots of people care about socks.

Don't get me wrong, I like stripey knee socks best. It's not like I don't have a preference.

But the point is this though: there is literally an infinite number of ways to categorise an image, and attempting to do so is an exercise in futility.

they dont have those tags because there are no guro boorus!

a guro booru would have tags like that, not about sock color

gurobooru literally does exist, its just dead because every booru worth a damn already allows guro

GUROchan is just fine, you are the only person who doesn't like it in its current form and constantly trying to change it into something that will eventually kill it. Maybe because things are working too well? Also trying to argue that we are not keeping up with "progress" is outdated. It's our current form that keeps us alive. You are also not fooling anyone into thinking you want what's best for the board. Get a life, enjoy the content, if you ever did, and give it up! I appreciate your patience and your attempt to be a legit presence here but what you want will never happen.
