We need more janitors to keep the boards clean of spam of any kind (but mainly illegal ones).

There is no requirement for applying for janitor, simply a few words stating you are interested is enough.

Notes about being a janitor:
- You can "soft delete" the posts, but you can't "purge" them. Only higher members of staff are able to finally purge the deleted posts from the system.
- You can restore posts you delete in case of fat fingering, and you will never be confronted about accidental deletions (we also routinely check for deleted posts that shouldn't have been deleted).
- Being a very informal position, there is no compensation of any kind involved. I also don't want you to think being a janitor is a "responsibility" further than having access to a soft deletion feature we have.
- After acquiring an account, you don't necessarily need to maintain contact with other staff. You can take long breaks without notice, though multi-years of inactivity may make your account get deleted.
- We occasionally have arguments in the threads, sometimes they get heated. You should refrain from interfering them alone. You can still bring it up to a mod's attention on our chat: https://chat.guro.cx/ - but our only expectation from you is deleting blatant automated/illegal spam.
