By definition all art should be free and I think that anything you manage to smuggle from behind the paywalls should be posted here! How do you feel about paywalled content that interest you?

Dude there is so much wrong with this post. Firstoff the claim that artist are getting rich is just wrong. Most of them can be happy if they even make a living off their skills. Second you describe artists as drug dealers making a living off exploitation. I dunno about your definition of exploitation, but for the most part it means getting shit out of other people without giving back anything. Sounds alot like a pirates lifestyle to me. lastly your overall pseudo intellectual chip chap about caring for others and the deeper meaning. Cmon dude thats so lame. The thing that pisses me off most about you parasites is that youre not honest about yourself. you want stuff for free, you go out and try to get it. this turns you on because you can get away with something at least once in your overall miserable life and thats it. no need to act like there is a deeper meaning or nobility in it.

The artists you are stealing from are single person performer, not some amazon, netflix, warner-bros mega-corp.
if you seek the thrill of being robyn hood go after them. but thats probably too hard to achieve and will most likely land you in jail.

    what is samefagging?
    Did I miss something?

It si not my post but

The idea that you can make a living of your art is plain lunacy simply because competition is too high and customer base is very small.
And this is good to so em extent.

At this day anyone can just download some 3d software and start pumping out art of any kind.
what you really need most is to build your name and give freebies for maybe a year or two until someone will even get aware about your existence and then when you get people hooked you declare that they are going to pay or fuck off.

Yes many of those artists are just single people who do it as a side hustle to make few extra pennies.
But many of thsoe people are asholes for not releasing ther work into public domain and generally not interacting with public in any way besides posting their spam and it is nothing wrong in harming an asshole.

Finally yes getting stuff for free is what turns own as it is not that expensive to pay 5$ or even less. But it is the matter of principle not to pay.
I for example would agree to do amount of work which is worth 50$ but I refuse to pay 5$ because paying is not fun at all and it feels bad.
the moment when you enter relationships where money is involved you naturally become enemies where the goal is to rip each other.

another point about caring is not that pirates care about artists, pirates care about each other and their own fans and their own community.
pirate is not that different from artist just rather than making his own stuff he downloads someones else and post it as his own.

Artist can eliminate that step if he wants if he agrees to do the job of the pirate and publish his stuff himself that way acquiring fans among pirates.
    >>
"By definition, art should be free".... what definition? Your definition?

There's been private art since forever you're just angry your favorite artist paywalled their work for something like 5 USD so they can make a living out of doing something they like.

Let's assume all artists have to share what they draw for free, you think you're gonna get more art? Wrong you're gonna get way less and what you get will be much lower quality because I assure you no one will ever want to put a lot of effort into learning a non-profitable skill like drawing.
    >>
    >>1197
You are talking about a niche within a niche here and igonoring the general rules of copyright and everything that was discussed on this thread just to impose your own lousy point of view.
If anyone said anything right here they are Onix and OP!
    >>557
    Agreed!
    >>
I said it a million times and I'll say it again. The only way I'd purchase guro/hentai in general is if it's a physical manga/comic book. Not paying for a single jpeg that'll get leaked by a chinese guy on sad panda anyway (´ー`)
    >>
    >>1199
The panda is actually happy that the internet is free and art, including guro hentai, can be shared and enjoyed by all and so the internet is still used for the reason it was created. He was just sad in that pic because there are people who think otherwise and try to disrupt this!:P
    >>
I won't pay for paywalled content either way, so leaking them on this place doesn't affect them. I don't think Japanese artists are visiting this place anyways LOL
    >>1206
To claim Onix doesn't contribute doesn't make sense. Do you ever visit /3dcg/?
    >most of the stuff people commission me for have nothing to do with this niche and they want their commissions to be private anyways
When you do private commissions it's between you and the customer, and not what people are discussing here. You getting hired to fulfill one's request is way different from you trying to the sell existing art you made, which is destined to get leaked anyways (´ー`)
    >>
    >>1208
    >You missed the point, I have stopped doing public work because the community is toxic
    >No wonder people stop posting guro honestly
    Yet you're still here
    >>
    >>1206
Are you "that" mysterious anonymous with whom I had discussion about communism somewhere and who is posting lots of stuff here for free and also invented cure for cancer? LOL
If only we could know who is this mysterious contributor.

Although speaking about those private commissions I wonder where you get clients who are willing to pay any reasonable money? Unless you are some super famous artist.

    >>1208
This does not make much logic sense. You stopped doing public work because community is toxic, but people stop posting guro because paywalls are not evaded?
So how your decision to stop posting is related to paywals about whom you do not care at all?

    Also what sense it makes:
    > I actually post my stuff on here for free, but I won't be posting things publicly anymore I make more money off of private commissions anyways

That would imply that you were making money from your public posts somehow but now you make more from private commissions.
    >>
You are hillarios, your ranting and goals are so transparent you make even a kindergarden kid laugh at you.Onix actually makes sense but you avoid giving a direct answer to his argument and insult him to his face later claiming you got baited into it, so pathertic and lame.
You so called arguments agains piracy are relly weak and all that rethoric meant so scare people with what holds "in court" and what doesn't reminds me of a troll lurking on the threads a short while back and using the same phrases while claiming that loli and shota are pedo.
Also it seems your goal is not to defend copyrigted work, as you brought no real conter arguments to what Onix and the other said, you just want to antagonise users. Is that you Straitjackit? Then kindly I must tell you again to go fuck yourself!
If you are another dude, maybe you should do the same because Onix made some valid points here and you can't answer them either because you can't or because you fail to understand them but try to be smart!;)
Also you have a poor understanding of the copyright law and you exploit the fact most people don't bother to study thi but they look to the general oppinion flow, oppinion you poorly try to influence.
Luckly here we don't bother to look twice at people like you!

    >>1210
Onix, thank you for investing time in dealing with this kind of scum! You are an awesome dude!
    >>
    >>1219 This guy is definetely a troll or Straitjackit!
Good riddance and don't come back!
    >>
    >>1212
I wonder what is even your point to talk all this nonsense and claim being some super successful artist bragging about how much money you make on commissions and how you will make everyone cry by not posting your stuff in public even if nobody even knows who you are and what you do.
If you have no interest in arguing with strangers why are your wasting your valuable time with that nonsense? Go do more commissions and make more money.

As for copyright issues nobody owes anything to anyone. Artists owe nothing to pirates and pirates owe nothing to artists. Idea that someone has to respect your paywall is just as delusional as idea that artist has to posts his work for free.
Aso I do not believe in morality and ethic at all it is all about you provide some value for me then I provide some value to you. People who use arguments that something is "illegal" or "immoral" are engaging in pure demagoguery.
    >>
    >>1222
This moral fag makes me lmao! Only a dumbfuck or a saboteur comes to gurochan to preach morality! Anyways this thread underlines some important things(well done Onix) Art behind the paywall doesn't exist.I and any common sense internet user won't give money to support the paywalls and raise them higher. After a while all art should be made public. Some so-called artists think they can use the right to raise the paywalls and so we think we have the right to liberate paywalled content.Paywalling does not only violate the general copyright law but common sense as well.So if art behind the paywall doesn't exist then it becomes free game.We are not against supporting artists but we won't suffer paywalling and artists who don't eventualy release their work except through paywalls. In fact you are not even an artist until you bring your content to the public. You are just a whining fag!But I'm glad it bothers you so you can continue to watch it happen!

    >>1221
    Well said!
And I agree morality exists just for demagogues and sheeps!
    >>
    >>1219
    >keep thinking Japanese artists are going to slave away to draw for some rando dumbfuck westerner for free like a dancing monkey
Japanese artists don't use their social media/personal websites as soapboxes to shit on the fans that commission them. Japanese doujin artists genuinely love what they do, and they consistently draw full color sketches online/self-publish stories. I appreciate some western artists (like the people that contribute to gurochan's oekaki board for example), but people that whore themselves out on social media, thinking they're hot shit, spouting "I HAVE LIMITS AS TO WHAT I CAN DRAW. I'LL ONLY DRAW GURO IF YOU GIVE ME 10000 DOLLARS VIA PAYPALL", and constantly delete their accounts and whine about how much they hate their fans for commissioning them "gross shit", are a bunch of whiny faggots that need to quit while they're ahead. Also its worth noting that most Japanese artists don't treat drawing hentai as a "fulltime job". They see creating doujinshi as a fulfilling hobby that makes both themselves, and their niche fetish fanbase happy.
    >>
    holy shit. go outside
    >>
    >>1225
    >You know what I was irritated about the mass flaggings and raids, but I'm over it at this point. You guys don't even know what you're talking about because you are so one sided in your perspectives.

How is mass flagging and "raids" related to paywalls? in the first place that would rather suggest that you are acting like entitled asshole and someone just put your in the right place.

It becomes pretty clear why you are hiding your name, because if you were talking the same way with people who were requesting your works for free then it is matter of pride to kick your butt. The person whom you insulted will deliberately pay those 3$ not to support you but rather to rip everything and publish it everywhere to screw you up and maybe even report you too. And they will get pleasure not from seeing you happy and motivated, but from seeing you posting the shit like that.

The general rule in life is not to piss off people because they will get pissed off and hurt you when they will get an opportunity.

    >Me and other discord Japanese doujinshi artists will continue to trade drawings in private discords with each other because we enjoy consuming the content and creating it.

And what is the point of that anyway? You will just have fewer fans and response that if you posted your works publically to everyone.
You look like a kid saying "I just drew a picture and I will not show it to you" LOL
    >>
    ( ´ω`)
    >>
    Let's see your art buddy
    >>
    >>1231
Paywalls will go down no matter how pissed off you are and you will be pissed on if you continue!
    >>
    Smash the paywalls my brethren!
    >>
Did anyone here said that " artists shouldn't be able to make any money from drawing"?
At least what I said was that you *can't* maker any significant money from that because competition is way too high. (unless you are super famous)
Nobody is going to prevent you from trying to sell your works but you will not prevent people from sharing what they bought from you

We are equally annoyed with your attitude that you think you are entitled to tell your customer to what he can do with the thing he bought. Sorry but if I bought your product then I do anything I like with it. And let's leave all that licensing and other legal crap to government dogs.
Evading paywalls is just optimization. It makes way more sense to buy everything just once and then share than buy everything on your own.

Blocking people is not that different from insulting them, if you block someone you don't have any right to complain about what they do to you.
    >>
    >>1237
Think this way: I want 2 mangas and my friend wants 2 mangas so why we can't just buy one each and then share? same result half of the price.
Why we can't extend that to millions of people?
This way we only need to buy everything just once and then share. Huge cost savings for everyone. Great business plan.
In fact originally, piracy started exactly as this kind of sharing in the closed group where everyone had to bring something to get access to the rest. And there was piracy within piracy, when other pirates "steal" from those closed groups and post to public.

Your entitlement is in the fact that you believe that you have any right to tell people what to do and that they will obey just because you will act pissed off.
    >That's stupid I have the freedom to disassociate with whomever I please if they are trying to drag me down.
Sure you have a freedom top do that but the person you blocked also has a freedom to fuck up something for you.
    >>
    >>1243
No wonder you had to take down your precious paywall, that's because you were too dumb to read the rules of the site you were posting on, as you are not too dumb, or close-minded, or both to understand the arguments presented to you!
    >Paywalls aren't going anywhere it most likely guro that is if anything.
That's your oppinion pal, a fac that proves you are even more dumb than you appear.Japan had that kind of censorship since the early 90s, but it is the birthplace of guro and it is thriving.
The fact that you throw the world prison in a sentence has no effect here btw.

From everything you said here it becomes clear, you are not a japanese artist, you are not defending artists, you are here just to counter argument in a debate that was long close.

You are just a troll and a really lousy one, I'm lmao at your comments and I bet eveyone here is doing the same.

My advice is to crawl back to whatever hole you came from and if you want to do the world a favor consider visiting that special forest in Japan and necking yourself, because there is little else you can do!
    >>
    >>1244
I think this troll is the actual Straitjackit. He tried everthing, posting cp, harrasing users, threatening them for posting loli and shota art, and I bet he's behind the recent ddos attacks on the site.I remember this shit-eating fucker tried to ban all loli and shota art from gurochan.
    Yet, here we are shit-eater!
    >>1243
Even if you are not Straitjackit. you should really KYS!
    >>
    >>1239
Now everyone knows is you Straitjackit! Because of your low IQ you are getting really predictable!
Gurochan is actually booming now with new content and fresh art allmost everyday we also have a great game thread!
Btw you never owned this board you were just a shitty mod that we endured! Kuz and Kaguya are doing a great job and Gurochan will continue to thrive!
Now kindly crawl back to your shithole!
    >>
    >>1243
How ironic, when a criminal is complaining about people not obeying the law LOL
Like a pedo saying "stop pirating my videos of my raping my daughter!"
Yes guro is illegal in some places and where I live all porn is illegal.
and you are trying use paywall without even obeying rules of that same paywall LOL

    >Tell people to do what exactly? To fuck off?
I think you were trying to tell them not to share your content or something.

    >Business plan? lmao that's hilarious. Most of the guys already get paid dogshit and you guys want to ensure that the business dies off completely and that's your business plan.

That's the whole point. Why people to whom you said to fuck off should give a fuck whether you get paid or not?
This is what I meant by "entitlement" that you tell some people to fuck off but at the same time you expect those people to care about you. same as those feminists who want men to protect and provide for them but at the same time they dont give a fuck about those protectors and providers.
I was always saying that this is not the good way to do things. It would be better to everyone if we cared about each other.

    >Yeah, I guess you do have the freedom to insert yourself into my life however you please.
I have freedom to do anything what is not limited by laws of nature and my abilities :)
So when you deal with people you should keep that in mind.
    >>
    >>1252
There's a big difference in that raping your daughter and (to a lesser extent) not contributing to the artists that you enjoy is unethical as well as illegal.
Whereas looking at cartoons (yes, even Asian ones) is never unethical.
    >>
That's not the point. It is about the idea that you are breaking some arbitrary rules yourself. legal or illegal, immoral etc does not matter. Those are all subjective arbitrary rules. producers and consumers of those rape videos probably don't think that there is anything wrong in that.

Speaking about contributing to artists thats different issue but for starters how about just leaving comments about the works you liked as the bare minimum thing you can do which costs nothing? Or donate them some money.
