This thread has been at the top of the board for weeks now, almost around the clock.
At the moment, it contains 866 posts (ignoring deleted), 33 of which are images/videos.
5 of those are not related to guro at all, another 6 barely, leaving 22, a meager 2,55%.
GUROchan is an image board after all.

Now, if the conversation was contributing to the board in any way, that wouldn't be as annoying,
but the vast majority of entries is pure drivel. Jabbering and babbling on, interrupted by flaming.

we got /dis for discussions
we got a chatroom
at the very least one can use the sage function, that is what it is for.
"Typing sage into the email field prevents the thread from being bumped.
This is used when you are not posting something that portrays to the topic of the thread."

If it would be possible for someone with authority, to politely say something in the matter,
that would surely be appreciated by a lot of those members not particularly interested in
that specific topic. You can ignore it only for so long, if it's right in your face, all the time.

Please start enforcing the rules that you created for realistic ai. There is literally thread called various realistic ai on /ai that is up for 4 month and multiple other where you can't make any arguments that it is sort of 3d look, like multiple dolcet threads that are as realistic as it gets.

Speaking as a janitor, I may very well be mistaken, but I do not think any of those actually
fall into the problematic category. Real porn, even more snuff, CP and such are absolutely prohibited,
100%, no discussion.
The term "photorealistic content" on the other hand is at least open to some interpretation.
In my understanding it means purposely trying to make something look as realistic as possible,
up to a point where the viewer is deceived into believing it's real.

Again, I could be wrong, but none of those threads and the posts within look real to me and what's more,
they don't look as if at any point during their creation anything real could have been involved or used
to help make it. That is a huge distinction in my opinion.

Therefore I won't touch any of these and leave it to more qualified persons.

Being the one that replied to the matter mentioned above, I do however think, that some of the rules -
the one about photorealistic AI being among them - could use a bit of clarification or an addendum or some such.

In this case, the anon who reported the threads may be basically right, at least not obviously wrong.
"photorealistic" could very well mean anything that resembles a photo at all, or that only parts look as if they were real.
That is the other side of the coin. Slap some cat's ears and a tail on a photo, still remains a photo.
There's even apps for such things as most of you will be aware.
Not all content of that kind is equally dangerous to the very existence of the whole board, but if it looks, as if a real photo
could have been modified to create the image or video, that does fall into the category photorealistic AI.

One last thing: The threads mentioned are not that different from many of the other AI threads, so
being consequent and enforcing a very strict interpretation of the rule could mean purging half of the AI board.
I for one do not want that, at all.

In conclusion:
Not touching any of those. Don't think it is necessary.
Someone else might. Some clarification in the matter would be helpful.

Still not deleting it, because of the typical crappy AI-eye (only the left) and mostly the physics.
She wouldn't be able to hang like this, if it was real. But it is a case of someone trying purposely to make an image
look as realistic as possible with content that could be endangering the very existence of the whole board.
In my opinion that should be reprimanded. Not by me though, above my pay-grade.

Hint: Just to make it clear that you are not trying to get GUROchan in trouble (which is always a possibility by the way),
leave some very obvious AI parts in the image and do not try to make it look as realistic as possible.
Or upload elsewhere and post a link.

This is my thread, my goal is not to make photo realistic gore same as gore websites have, but instead to make Guro art, i think there is a significant difference. Also i made various anime guro images in other threads, with less details, it is same approach just more detailed, but in first place it starts as an artwork, anyway, janitor, can you rename my thread into "FleashReaper's Art" or i can make new thread without word "photorealistic" because it's not a photorealistic gore for the sake of gore itself. don't want to misguide people.

In my opinion, that is a good idea. However, a janitor can not do that.
Delete, leave a comment or issue a warning, that's about it. Mostly keep the house clean.
Only a full mod or administrator can rename and move stuff, as well as other more advanced operations, afaik.

Those guys are very busy and we'll have to wait patiently until one of them finds the time to look into the issue
how far the term "photorealistic" actually extends. Maybe nothing at all happens. Worst case, everything too close to a real photo has to go.
Knowing the board since the beginning of the old Gurochan, I estimate the second outcome as extremely unlikely.

btw.: you can always set a password for deletion while posting and in case of an error delete your own post.
that also works with a whole thread, but yours is already filled and it would be shame. Just wait for a mod to rename it.
In the future, let's say you made a typo while creating a new thread, you can delete it yourself and create a new one.

Consider this: Today's use of "pedophile" is a misinterpretation. The word derives from latin and literally means loving (…phile) children (pedo…), not abusing them. Hence, in this sense I'm a pedophile and you (and "everyone") should be one too.
