The last time before GC died more or less all active userbase moved to lolicit which has huge influx of GC users. Since at on this new GC 3D loli status unclear and other things happened they don't rush to come back.
Also a lot of people are on pixiv and everyone who is not interested in lolis or hate them have dozen of huge forums available.

Reddit community is way cleaner and less toxic. Also private messaging is possible. GC has been too unstable in the past and even with some other subs on reddit trying to get /guro nuked it has been going strong. also content creators. Reddit is full which commissioners willing to shell out $$$ for customs, thus private messaging and the need for entertaining a verified account comes in handy. Showcasing my work there makes sense. People follow the contents. GC on the other hand is all about shitposting, freebies and weirdos. Also, GC has NO moderation, thus everything that is not RL-CP goes, which is way too much in my opinion. weird people here.

Think about this:
Many of us have some esoteric erotic phantasy, but are reasonable kind and honorable people at the same time.

It's a popular pattern. At least it looks like he is targeting the domain registrar, so as long as our hoster is willing, the very worst thing that can happen is changing to another domain, which we all should have got used to at this point. More important is finding old community and alerting them about Gurochans return. They aren't hiding at Reddit or another forum to my knowledge, but where might we find them? I believe we aren't so away from returning to the glory days of Gurochan, all it needs is some effort from our side
