Okay, the spam is cleared for now, but the thread order on /lit/ is still messed up by the spammer's bumps, and while we can hope newer threads will get bumped back on top eventually, it's discouraging to think this would happen every time there's a new spam attack.
Is there any chance to set up the ordering of the threads to follow the date of the last NON-deleted post, instead of like now following the date of the last post even if it was deleted?
Or otherwise if the order of threads is updated independently, force an update after any post gets deleted?

We tried, but it doesn't seem possible with the outdated version (ryonaloli's Vichan fork) GUROchan is using. We can see if it's possible to update the software's version perhaps, which would make us lose the scroller thing for latest bumped threads on top boards and the fancy top bar, but would solve it and also give us even faster posting speeds in exchange.
If that doesn't work out, the best we can do is manually re-bumping the relevant threads on /lit/.
By the way, what do you think about the way /lit/ looks now? After we can do little improvements (removing size thing, display more threads per page, and titles clickable) I believe it would make /lit/ easier to use.

Oh, WTF happened to lit? now it shows jut's a list of threads and no clue what is in them or they they were updated.
maybe this version of the page could exist separately as story index but we need old version too to track changes and see if anyone posted something new.

Sorry, but this is no good. It's just a list of threads like the one we already have at the top of the page.
Seeing the first post, or at least a starting portion of it, was useful to get a better idea what the post was about - it would often include story codes or some sort of description for the story.
Seeing the last post was also useful for seeing at a glance what was updated. The date of the last update doesn't even show in this new list, only on the old list at the top of the page (which apparently we're planning to lose), and
even if it did show, does anyone actually check for updates by looking at dates and then trying to recall what was the date you've last checked? And then even if you do all these calculations and think the thread was updated you have to open it to see that it was just a short comment. Simply scrolling down and glancing for new stuff was much more practical IMO.
So no-no-no to this version, please switch back to how it was.

You mean date in the scroll box?
That's no good, as nobody will remember what was the date of the last post.
Now we really have just a same list of threads 2 times one in the tiny useless sroolbox and another in the main page.
