Anyone else want to work as a butcher or operative worker at a frigorific plant, meat-processing plant or slaughterhouse?
What are the motor-skill and physical strength requirements? I love handling knives and cutting meat.

It's extremely boring, you do one motion(like a specific cut) for the entirety of your shift. Lift up to 50lbs and raise arms above head repeadtly/crouch(if putting pieces on a belt or removing organs). Pays decent but usually you just go insane do to boredom and repitition. Also it's the same thing everyday because it's cheaper then cross training. It's also high quantity not like 100 but more so 500-1000 carcasses, and quality checks you must adhere to. also few to no breaks at all and between 8-12hr shifts. High turnover so extra work sometimes. It pays between 12-24 dollars(state) but most have full benefits so not a interesting job but definitely something if you want therapy or dental or health in general.

It looks to me like you would find more satisfaction as a home butcherer. Look on YouTube for "NZ homekill", I can't remember the exact name, but if you like knives and death and meat you'll get all you needed and moar.
