    You may be able to find people here. Back in the day we had a chat called IRC, but I don't think there are many people there now.

    But you certainly have found your crowd. Perhaps we should advertise IRC again and maybe even have an embedded webchat. That would be nice.

    THIS. There's constant threads on /soc where people seek to meet or just chat online with on Discord and the like. Just keyword search those threads for "guro" or make a post about yourself with it mentioned and someone will add you. It feels more uncomfortable to post this kind of stuff here on gurochan because of how much more permanent the site/threads are.
