After being kicked off a few different ad services within a short while, we are now forced to ask for donations to keep GUROchan running. Coming from a third world country with no job/financial independence, I have always arranged setups where I could have benefactors paying for our bills. Over the years I depended on various friends of mine, but as time goes on, I'm having to increasingly handle the site on my own. I am determined never to censor or limit GUROchans content, and while we have enough funds to keep GUROchan alive for the foreseeable future unless something happens unexpectedly, a way that at least has the possibility of easing up our financial burden seems logical to go from now on - that being asking for donations since ads don't seem feasible.

You may be aware that internet is becoming more and more censored and stuff like RAMs or storage getting way too expensive for non-corporate/non-profit/"hobbyist" websites. Just today, as you can see below, our provider raised monthly costs by up to 33% month over month.

I can guess that most of the people reading this, being imageboard users, aren't exactly swimming in money either. So I'm asking that only if you're already well-situated yourself and can afford sparing some bucks, please consider helping out.
