music that reminds you of guro?

or just that you like or are listening to. lets share music with each other!
please stay civilized and respect other peoples music tastes. just because you don't like something, doesn't mean you should go around saying it sucks. and don't be /mu/ because well, no one wants to be /mu/.

im currently listening to murder murder-eminem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8WWaZMboAo

This is pretty pointless because of course music other people like sucks unless there is miracle and tastes match.

if you post music just to represent your idea of guro that's different because we are not supposed to like it

here is music which fits my idea of guro

    >>
Nine Inch Nails' "Closer" was my suggestion on the old-Gurochan when we had a music-thread, and I'm sticking to it.
    >>
"Genital Grinder" by Jig-Ai, anyone? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_boeTRRN4h4
    >>
A good majority of Dir En Grey's music videos have a guro imagery in it or the songs have grotesque meanings behind it , like "Obscure" for an obvious example.

This video has everything: Vomit, robots, impalement (spike & strap-ons), cannibalism, bloody org, heart exposure & the list goes on.

"Different Sense" for tentacle porn fans

There's probably a few more around, but those two always come to the front of my mind when thinking of guro music.
    >>
Chiptunes. I have no idea why but... chiptunes.
    >>
    Angelspit is pretty gurotastic.

Horrorcore rap is also really guro. My favorites being Tech N9ne and especially Brotha Lynch Hung.

There's also MC Bushpig. His music isn't 'good' in the traditional sense but it has a campy, filthy vibe I enjoy.

brotha lynch hung is fucking good bro

also this is like my official gurochan song. this + every existing remix of it

How bout a song that's all about chopping hands off apparently

    >>
oh shit I remember posting my own album here back in the .net days, the thread was on /g/ for some reason
    >>
I always associate Crystal Castles with guro even though they're not very guro related for some reason. Otherwise, Xiu Xiu (if you haven't heard the Botanica de Los Angeles album yet, I highly recommend it)
    >>
I listen to harsh noise and power electronics exclusively, that and a good amount of black metal
    >>
    >>
    >>
Any of Cannibal Corpse's early albums or songs. Seriously, albums like Tomb of the Mutilated have artwork that's absolutely guro-tastic!
    >>
    >>
Reading some of the entries, I am mostly embarassed to admit that I like to listen to "What I am" by "Edie Brickell and The New Bohemians" while drawing erotic stuff, not only guro. I feel something in that combination of pace and lyrics... :>
    >>
^ Eh. I listen to some pretty tame music while drawing too. Lately I've been on a Vocaloid binge:

That's a really catchy, disturbing song. I like it. There's something extremely unnerving in how calmly the singer repeats "unforgivable."
    >>
    Nick Cave's a pretty BAMF.
    >>
    mostly dsbm and pornogrind

Ever see Funny Games? This song set the mood for the rest of the movie.
    >>
The guys that like dir en Greg and crystal castels are cool ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
    >>
Pretty much any power electronics. It's THE genre of sexual violence.

    Start with:
    Damien Dubrovnik - Penis Corset
Whitehouse - Thank Your Lucky Stars

Silly, yes, but no sillier than guro.
    >>
most of the stuff from crystal castles' unreleased album

also nick cave & the bad seeds lmao

I love to listen to Candlemass (Swedish doom metal) sometimes. I haven't explored a lot of doom metal but I loved them the first time I watched the "Bewitched" music video.

Here's two full albums. I usually enjoy their older stuff.

    Epicus Doomicus Metallicus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z33VWOaCImQ
    Nightfall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyKi2I0m08w

I don't specifically stick to just this type of metal but I love it!

    The Gerogerigegege
    >>
Vocaloid. Even the more mainstream stuff is pretty twisted, but when it comes to stuff like The Spider and the Kitsune-like Lion then it might as well be guro.
    >>
I tend to listen to a lot of power noise and aggrotech.

    C/A/T - Malice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EUTvlbBBk0
Terrorfakt - Welcome to Hell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DISrzMTwBAo

Tactical Sekt - Bring Me Violence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytwuf9rJ4K8
    Nachtmahr - Tanzdiktator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tTaHAPFGwo
    >>
Back when I listened to more mainstream hard rock, Avenged Sevenfold's 'A Little Piece of Heaven" did this pretty well.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VurhzANQ_B0
    >>
Pretty much anything by Dog Fashion Disco. Most of their songs feature heavy references to medical procedures, gore and abuse. And for some reason, the style of music just screams guro to me. Here's a couple of examples.

I haven't actually been on this site in 4 or 5 years, but I ended up checking up on it this morning due to a musical inspiration. I went to sleep too drunk to remember anything last night, but when I checked what music I had been listening to, it turns out it was "Kiss" by London After Midnight, a track that I originally learned of from some work or other by an author called 19, whom I originally read on /lit/ here.
I don't want to get sappy or anything, but seeing this thread after so many years really warms my heart (which is on a table over there), I'm glad to see that this site is still going.
