Rebecca focused on Paula's body. Her friend was too busy laughing to notice what Rebecca was doing. She imagined Paula with no head. Then, another image popped in her head.

Paula with a hand instead of a head. She focused on that imagine. The sapphire began to glow, and for the first time today, she didn't feel the tingle. When she was done, Paula had stopped laughing.

Rebecca began laughing instead. Paula's head had indeed turned into a hand! It moved as though she were looking around, but from her body language, it was clear she couldn't see.

Rebecca snuck away from Paula to see what would happen. The poor hand-headed girl stood up and tried to walk around the apartment, her hand-head wriggling its fingers.

Rebecca focused on herself again. This time, at least orienting her body more properly. She imagined her torso reversed. She pictured it as though her upper body was on backwards. Sure enough, after a quick tingle, she had arranged herself accordingly. It would be much easier to handle things this way.
