See, that's what I mean. When biology is involved, where does the conscious go? Madeline's body was given a copy of her self.

"After weeks of sitting in her hidden laboratory designing machinery, writing software, and mentally preparing, she had completed the first step. She had her brain scanned and her personality backed up onto a metal disk-like object that would replace her head."

It's like a Cortana complex. The copy must accept the original, which was still her head. So then Ridley, I see jumpes to where she can controll her body from her original self (head). Then of course, he went over how the body's functions would be maintained, but what about her head? She was just fine in a nutrient and 02 saturated environment. But when biology and physiology are concerned it gives some people a good o'l hard on sorting it out. But hey, I've just been thinking of this stuff for the past 7 years. Oh and ifyou guys haven't yet, you should read Franken Fran. It's really good sci-fi macabre manga.

Pic from a Shadow Run character I met. Trauma Patched her dying head, and her body rolled enough to continue breathing and pulsing. Great fuck toy of a decker.
