When it's a character who is originally a dullahan/has the ability to take her head off, nobody cares much. Think Ms. Fortune, Celty, etc.
It's when you have characters from shit like Pokemon and Undertale and whatnot having detachable heads for no reason, that's when it starts to get creepy outside the realm of gurochan and /d/. Even worse is this particular fetish begets a lot of edits because it's easy to photoshop a head off (photoshopping a head off PROPERLY is another story). So you have a bunch of pre-established characters headless for no reason poorly edited

You can post something like Celty or Lala on /a/ and nobody would scream "DUDE WHAT THE FUCK" but when you start posting Bulma from Dragonball with her head detached for no explicable reason, that's when the problems start.
