Apparently there is a manga called 'Mazoshan' that those two images are from. Don't get your hopes up too much though, that artist has a habit of drawing single shots of the girls like that, but the actual stories use magic as an excuse for bondage play.

...Also I got bored and felt like putting the two together and editing in a 'before' version.

Through some searching, I found that the anime is called Aikatsu, but there are 100 episodes and I don't feel like reading plot synopsis right now.

I'll overlook the obvious "There is less pictures of the less popular tricks because they are less popular" side of your statement and instead comment more on the twister.

One of the bigger things that this 'magic' smut has is the the bondage/helplessness of the situation, as well as the 'victim' being reduced to a helpless toy/pinup via use of the trick. The main issue with the twister illusion is that it removes the latter side of the kink. Whit the girl's body twisted up like a rope, most of her assets are removed. The picture you referenced is a good example, as most of her curves have been removed by the process of twisting her.

Granted, I've always had the idea that the assistants costume should just fall off in the twister, especially if her outfit was some tube top/strapless number. And if you can still see her fingers/hands in most versions why her tits shouldn't also still be hanging out, but I've never had and real success drawing it, so I can't talk.

I remember years ago on gurochan, probably 2010 at the latest, seeing a hentai manga where a stage magician girl was going through all sorts of perils, including almost getting sliced in half by a "buzzsaw", but the twist of the manga was that, unknown to her, she was never in any real danger. It was all a training exercise/test to see if she has what it takes to be a stage magician/get over her stage fright, and in the end she performs on stage. Would anyone here happen to know what that was?

Azure Arts makes a ton of awesome magic/foot fetish stuff. This is one of my favorites by him.
