Love this picture, especially the gallows contraption.
From the gallows' design standpoint though it would be more considerate towards the audience gathering to see the hanging if there was a clear view of the hanging "pit" although in your picture it doesn't really matter that much as the executioner gives the victing a "flying fuck". While in this pic I'm posting the art itself isn't as good but I really like the design of the gallows and the way the art gives a good view of the trapdoor and the frame of the gallows structure and gives a good view of the victim swinging. I really like when there's a hanging that has the victim clean through the trap and then hit the end of the rope, staying there swinging for the audience and the view is framed by the support beams of the structure while giving a clean, unobstructed shot of the suspended victim.
