There's clearly much less effort into animating this, like how Scratchy is just standing in the kitchen to be cooked for no reason and doesn't even react until the very ending.

Man the comic writers had NO idea how to write Itchy and Scratchy show at all. How hard is to understand that Itchy is the show's villain and Scratchy is the show's Hero, every Simpsons episode is super blatant thats how the show works unlike Tom and Jerry, but it took the comic writers years to get the memo?

Itchy likes Scratchy, but he also loves killing Scratchy because he's a sicko (the original Yandere).
