I tried it on characters before, here is the first time I tried it on a sword and it looks alright, although the blood equally got on the handle too (potentially you can take pictures with and without blood and then photoshop the non-bloody handle in, but if you want to make it proper proper, you can manipulate the alpha texture accordingly) and how well it will look will depend on the object's UW map, like what orientation the blood will flow in and if different parts are in similar scale, or how they connect together and how bad the seams are. You can manipulate texture offset and scale with shader settings in MaterialEditor, but not rotate it, and scaling won't help with different parts being in different scales. So if you want the blood to flow along this sword instead of across it, you'd have to rotate the textures with photoshop accordingly. (If you want to rotate it 180 though you can try just mirroring it with negative scale on one axis - it's technically not the same as 180 rotation, but it also reverses the blood flow, which is all we need in this case) Then if the object has many parts, which are oriented differently throughout its UW map, you'd have blood flowing in different directions. Anyway, for simple objects like swords this should work, I think.

So here's the method. First you need to get the liquid/juices textures out of some character. Take any character, open Material Editor, find the cf_m_face_00 material (just search "face"), export textures named Texture2 and Texture3. Texture3 is ready to use as normal map, for Texture2 what I did is removed color (made it white on black) and then that will be our alpha map. You'll also need a png that is just plain white, that will be our main texture.

Also while you're at it, you can do the same with cf_m_body (just search "body"), but here the textures already take into account the body's UW map with arms oriented differently, so it will only be useful for adding liquids on characters' bodies, not other objects.

Now that we have all our textures, let's get to the sword. The one I'm using in the example is called "Broadsword" from "TitanWeapons" by "83", as that was just the first thing to show up when I searched for "sword". Now open the material editor for it, usually a simple object like that only has one material. Here I set it up to use KKUTSitem shader as nowadays I do with all objects I put in the scene unless it doesn't work well on them
