That is a terrible, terrible, straw-man argument. The fact of the matter is, this site is meant to cater to specific type of taste. People come here to post and find things that they would have hard time posting/finding in other places.

This site is meant for erotic guro. If erotic guro isn't your taste, and you'd rather see something more mainstream (like, normal "people getting eaten" images) that can be found virtually anywhere; then why bother with this site?
