Huh, I was trying to upload this picture a few days ago and it kept telling me the picture is too big.
Anyway, I remember there was a story on the onl gurochan that seemed to be inspired by this picture. I don't remember the title, but there was "surprise guro" in the tags. It told about a graduation ceremony in some school and a girl who was graduating, she was supposed to do something, everyone had already done it and were waiting for her, and she was nervous and everyithing. And then it's revealed what she had to do is to cut her eyes out just like in this picture. So she does it and then there's an official part of the ceremony, during which she thinks about how she learned all this years how to live a new life without eyes, like reading Braille, and now finally she graduates to this new life.
This is also what inspired my idea titled "In need of care".
