Peril's always been in an odd spot. Too extreme for /d/ and it's like, too light for gurochan, to niche for it's own personal board. Gurochan's probably the best home it's got because of how many of the more common setups show up here, but even then you're usually sifting through a bunch of non-peril stuff. A hanging thread will have some hanging perils, yes, but also a bunch of already dead ladies and more of a focus on the victims dying.
It's pretty frustrating.
