If you expect people to give you what you want for free in this world you won't make it anywhere in life, sorry. If enough people are providing an artist or any other skilled profession for that matter a job/way of living, why would they give that to (obviously ungrateful) people for free. If you really like the artist enough and want them to continue making work you should be willing to support them. $5 a month is nothing for that. You can be annoyed and angry all you want but it won't change anything.
