There's some good quality AI comic story writers out there who use generated art as a medium and those I don't mind, but I would never call them "artists" as prompted AI pictures in such works is like.. 10% from sum total effort and the one thing they didn't actually do by their own hand.

As for basic AI art with no additional work involved? Yeah, that's something that should be stomped. Anyone can generate hundreds of such pictures in under an hour with a good turbo model and minimal know-how. Get a good workflow going and you're an artist - as if. Plague of "patreon/pixiv creators" that do exactly that is sickening.
