The menus are not translated if memory serves, but the mechanics are just as simple. The second game however, is a resource management game that is very hard to understand even when you try to translate it. You generally find yourself running out of one resource or another and that leads to typical "collapse" syndrome you see in resource based games. Eventually you hit a point of no return and can't fix it. If you are happily going about your progressing and saving, you can save in a state you can't fix.

Still, a lot of content is achievable even if you don't understand the loss that's creeping up on you. When I first started playing it, I was able to see roughly half the content before I lost and maybe a little bit more by reloading and doing different things before losing. I eventually completed it all, but it was significantly harder than the other games and I never really felt like I was doing it right.

He's also made a mini game outside of the slash games. I don't understand the rules for it, but it randomly gives you 1 of maybe 5 girls and you have to behead her in a way she prefers in order to gain arbitrary points.
