The panels where they're about to be torn in half and they know it and beg for it to not happen are the absolute fucking best. That last bit of instinctual hope fading, the abject terror of knowing this is the point of no return and there's nothing they can do about it. Any injury before that point is potentially survivable but not that. And the best part is the top half remains alive long enough to briefly contemplate what just happened to them and know with 100% certainty that there's no getting through this now.
