At first I wanted to make it a simple beheading, with maybe some text about Rin taking a handful of pressure raising pills so that the blood spurting from her neck would be more spectacular.

But then I wanted to add some start to the wink and the ones I've found happened to have more than I imagined, and it made me want to put something into the biggest star. I was thinking of different options, like Rin's head made into a trophy, or a funeral photo of Rin, until I arrived at the idea of putting her angelic form in there.

Then I noticed how the little blood splattered on the background looks a bit like falling cherry blossoms, so I've added those too.

And not that it all looked so poetic I had no choice but to write a tanka. Just how grammatical mistakes it ended up having I have no idea. Probably as many as can possibly fit into five lines.

Oh, and it reads:

hanachiri kirei
ningen mo
kodomo no mama de
shineba saikou
