They "look to match my works" because they are my works (that is, alterations made by me). It would be as you say "a proper alteration thread" if people actually post other alterations here too, instead of creating new excessive threads. Not to mention a number of alterations in the other thread was made by me anyway. By asking people to post here I'm actually trying to solve the problem of this not being as you say "a proper alteration thread". The point you're trying to make defeats its own self.
