I've also tried just to see what happens, the first girl no, the trap was made to break the main heroine, which is*spoiler* the main purpose why she wasn't killed on the spot.The developer said you can save some of the girls, if you've met the bandaged girl who raises your stats later in the game, she was supposed to be saved from a trap.Also the girl in the cauldron also falls down everytime.But the game is far from completed, the alpha version has a lot of placeholder enemies in later stages and the whole heaven section is missing.So yes in theory you should be able to save some of the girls who will offer some aid, but at the present time no!
